The thesis must be submitted to the Central Examination Office in two bound copies, as well as an electronic version (best USB Stick, don't forget to include all your collected data), no later than the deadline. This can be done in person or by mail. It should be noted that the date of receipt at Chemnitz University of Technology is decisive for meeting the deadline.
If the thesis is to be handed in outside the opening hours or during the shutdown of Chemnitz University of Technology, it can be deposited in the mailbox of the Central Examination Office or with the gatekeeper at Reichenhainer Straße 70.

In addition to the official submission, please also send us your work by e-mail as a PDF file. Remember to include all your data on the medium (electronic version) you hand in to the ZPA.
Remember that you have to attach to your submissions the 'Declaration of Independence' that you have written the thesis yourself.
When writing your thesis, you have to declare all sources and additional resources that you used, and add a signed declaration to your thesis that you did not use any other resources than the ones specified within the thesis. This necessitates that you also declare any usage of generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT).
To do so, add an appendix to your work which contains the following information:
The tool used (if possible, specify the exact version)
A description of what you used it for
Which part(s) of the thesis this applies to
We recommend separating the table by usage (for example, if you used ChatGPT to brainstorm your research question and to proofread a specific chapter, mention ChatGPT two times in the table, once for each purpose).
